Erin Gutowski DO, MPH, FAAP, LGBTQ+ Health Fellow, University of Wisconsin-Madison

Erin Gutowski DO, MPH, FAAP is the current LGBTQ+ health fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a community pediatrician at Gundersen/Emplify Health in La Crosse, WI, with a passion for gender-affirming pediatric care and a special interest in Adolescent medicine, socially complex medicine, trauma-informed care, and child advocacy.

Their goals and aspirations include: building an inclusive, trauma-informed, accessible adolescent clinic, advocating for a more robust confidential adolescent healthcare delivery model, and thru-hiking the Superior Hiking Trail.

They are the medical lead and co-founder of the pediatric gender clinic at Emplify, with plans to continue community-based participatory research for gender-affirming care in rural communities after fellowship. She spends her free time with the loves of her life—her pets!! (Her spouse Dan is pretty awesome, too!)
