Dr. Kristina Alton (she/her) grew up in Durham, North Carolina, and completed medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She enjoys medical illustration and is interested in the intersection of art and psychiatry.

Her clinical interests include LGBTQ+ Mental Health, Ethical Issues in Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, Functional Somatic Disorders, Trauma-Related Disorders, Advocacy and Policy.
